Teachers embrace AI in classrooms

This year, a significant increase in teachers integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their lessons has been observed. According to a LinkedIn poll by Education Week, 60% of 1,186 respondents reported using AI in their teaching, up from 40% last year. The rise in AI usage correlates with enhanced professional development opportunities, as 43% of teachers have received training on AI, a notable increase from 29% in spring 2024. Educators are employing AI in various ways, such as creating rubrics, comparing student papers with AI-generated versions, and using AI tools for writing assistance.
